Presentation Formats & Accepted Paper Categories

Last modified 2006-05-06 14:48

We have had an amazing response to the Call For Papers. Many of the submitted papers have received high evaluation points.
Since we only have a limited number of formal presentation slots during the conferences, the Conference Paper Selection Committee approved the following categories of accepted papers.

    The Accepted Paper Categories are:

      1. Regular Research Papers (RRP)
Authors of RRP papers can request their papers to be moved to any one of the categories below (ie, to RRR, SRP, or PST). Those authors who feel that they have language difficulties, might consider requesting their papers be moved to any one of the categories below (such requests should be sent to Prof. H. R. Arabnia by email at hra@cs.uga.edu).

      2. Regular Research Reports (RRR)
Authors of RRR papers can request their papers to be moved to any one of the categories below (ie, to SRP or PST).

      3. Short Research Papers (SRP)
Authors of SRP papers can request their papers to be moved to PST category.

      4. Posters (PST)

Regular Research Papers (RRP) will be a maximum of 7 IEEE style pages in Camera-Ready form (will be published in the proceedings). RRP papers will be presented in FORMAL SESSIONS.
Each presentation will be 20 minutes long. Please bring a CD with your PowerPoint presentation. You will be presenting your PowerPoint from conference laptop. You are advised to copy your presentation to the laptop only at the beginning of your session. The conference administrator will remove all presentations after the conclusion of the last session each day. Overhead projectors will also be provided by the conference. The information about the time and the date of your presentation will be E-mailed to you as soon as it becomes available (in late May).
Each paper/presentation will be included in a relevant technical session - authors who will be presenting papers are expected to introduce themselves to the chair of the session about 5 minutes before the session starts (names of session chairs and conference room numbers will be emailed to you in late May).

Regular Research Reports (RRR) will be a maximum of 7 IEEE style pages in Camera-Ready form (will be published in the proceedings). RRR papers will be presented in DISCUSSION Sessions.
Authors of these papers are expected to bring with them to the conference a maximum of 10 pages describing their paper. These pages will be pinned to presentation boards during the DISCUSSION Sessions. Please use large fonts so that the paper can be read from about 1.5 meter distance - any reasonable typesetting format is acceptable. Authors of RRR papers are expected to be present during these sessions to answer any questions that readers might have (scheduled times for DISCUSSION Sessions will be emailed to you in late May. Your Camera-Ready paper should not exceed 7 IEEE style pages (for instructions regarding preparation of your final Camera-Ready papers CLICK HERE).

Short Research Papers (SRP) will be a maximum of 4 IEEE style pages in Camera-Ready form (will be published in the proceedings). SRP papers will be presented in DISCUSSION Sessions.

If you can read this text, it means you are not experiencing the Plone design at its best. Plone makes heavy use of CSS, which means it is accessible to any internet browser, but the design needs a standards-compliant browser to look like we intended it. Just so you know ;)
